When Should I Reserve my Ormond Beach Vacation Rental?                                                                                     
Please review the information on this site. Email us as soon as you are sure of your vacation dates to check availability and obtain information regarding your Ormond Beach - Daytona Vacation Rental by Owner reservation. Keep in mind that special events such as Daytona 500, Bike Week and Spring/Summer vacations book early.  For the best choice, most summer weeks are booked in January, February and March. However,  owners do accept reservations throughout the year.  Some of the Special Events are booked up to a year ahead and it's good to plan ahead for those.

During slower months, such as May, September, October, November and December, a short notice is often possible.  Contact us for information for a quick getaway condo rental by owner during those months.  Don't be afraid to check back since there may be cancellations.

How do I make a vacation rental reservation?                                                                                                             

Your on-line or email vacation rental reservation request does not constitute a reservation until you have sent in your deposit/rental fees along with a signed owner's rental agreement directly to the owner of the vacation rental you wish to reserve for your vacation. The owner's name and address is on their vacation condo rental agreement along with all of their terms and requirements. Once your payment and signed rental agreement is received by the owner, your reservation is confirmed and you will receive Arrival Information and Guest Registration form if applicable. Confirmations will be confirmed by the owner via email.

Is there a minimum stay requirement for Ormond Beach Vacation Rentals?                                                         

During the Peak Season of  Feb to August,  the usual minimum booking period is one week or one month. During the fall and early winter months 3-4 night stays may be arranged for specific rentals.  Please email  for availability for Special Events.  Some owners will rent out multiple months in both the summer and winter.

Why is there a maximum occupancy requirement?

Local fire authorities in Ormond Beach and in Daytona Beach, Florida enforce a strict occupancy limit and various Home Owner's Associations also set the maximum number of guests per condominium or beach house.

How far is the beach?

You're on the beach!  All the oceanfront vacation condo rentals are directly on a lovely no drive beach in Ormond Beach or Ormond by the Sea, Florida.  We also have a few properties which are directly across the street, but with ocean views; these are called ocean view.  Then there are also beach houses and cottages which are across the street from the beach or just a short walk away.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself, your family and friends and sun tan lotion.  All vacation rentals are fully furnished.

Are Linens Provided?

Yes, all linens and towels are provided for guests at no extra charge.  Guest are requested to leave no more than one day's worth of used linens or extra laundry charges of up to $25/load may be subtracted from your damage deposit.

Which are the closest airports?

Daytona Beach Airport (DAB) is only about 20 minutes from the Ormond Beach area.  Orlando (MCO) offers flights from all over the country and the world.  It is approximately 75-90 minutes away.  Other airports nearby are St. Augustine, Sandford and Jacksonville.

Is there a telephone?

Most units offer complimentary local phone service only.  Toll calls are NOT permitted.  Please arrange to use your cell phones, calling cards or pre-paid phone cards for any long distance or toll calls.

Is there an Internet Connection?

Most owners have provided high speed and sometimes wireless Internet for their guest to use.  Some buildings may have building-wide WiFi.  Please verify Internet availability for the specific vacation rental unit you have in mind.

Smoking?

All units are No Smoking. A strict no smoking policy applies. Non-compliance is will be the cost of smoke remediation along with loss of security deposit and immediate eviction.  Also, No Vaping !  

Pet Policy?

If you are in a "No Pets Allowed" unit you may not bring a pet or have a guest with a pet visit  inside your unit.  Many guests have pet allergies and count on a no-pet unit 'not having pets in residence prior to their arrival.  The oceanfront condos which allow pets limit you to one dog per unit under 25 lbs. Violations may result in additional cleaning fees and/or loss of damage deposit.

Parking?

Your rental includes parking. Most Ormond Beach condominium buildings do not allow  RVs, trailers, campers or large trucks on the premises. Arrangements may be made for nominal or complimentary off site parking for trailers nearby.

Cancellation:

Cancellations made 45-60 days or more prior to Arrival Date will receive a refund of all rental monies and damage deposits less an administration fee of $40.- 50 as determined by the owner. Each owner's policy is outlined on their rental agreement. Cancellations must be made in writing. In most cases If a cancellation is made less than 45-60 days prior to scheduled Arrival Date, deposit/rental fees are non-refundable unless the owner is able to rebook the rental period for the same rate and time period.  Check the owner's rental agreement for specific details.

Late Arrivals:

Arrangements may be made for late check-ins due to flights or delay in arrival times.  

Peak-Season Vacation Rentals by Owner:

(Jul/Aug) - Check In 3 P.M. Check Out 10A.M.

Off-Season Rentals:

Most owners will rent for three or more nights outside of June, July and August. During the Ormond Beach off season there is added flexibility with check in/out times

Housekeeping:

You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of your rental during your stay, and for leaving it in good condition when you depart. After you check out, it will be inspected by the housekeeper. Your damage deposit may be charged for any loss, damage or extra cleaning.

Late Charges:

Any late charges resulting from an unscheduled late check-out (after 10:00 am) may be assessed by the owner.  Individual owner rates vary.

Lost & Found:

After the housekeeper cleans a unit, they try to reunite owners with any items found left behind and will hold items left behind for two weeks. Guest is responsible for shipping and fees associated with the return and mailing of lost items.
